The First Christmas Night
The First Christmas Night | Keith Christopher
2 posts | 1 read
Modeled after “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” this beautiful retelling of the birth of Jesus celebrates that joyous night in Bethlehem so long ago. The poem begins with the arrival of Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem and moves through Christ's birth, the angels’ appearance to the shepherds, and the visit by the Wise Men. The simple, yet elegant, verses will appeal to little ones and are accompanied by the rich oil illustrations of Christine Kornacki.

I really liked this one. It talks about the night Jesus was born and the Three Wise Kings. Actually, I learned a couple things I hadn't know about Christmas 😊 The art is more on the realistic side but it's nice. The only thing I don't like is the reflective cover 😂 #tmskellington #holidayread #wintergames

Wasn't sure what to expect, but it definitely wasn't the explanation of the birth of Jesus, nice!! I'm not really religious but I like to know where things come from #tmskellington #holidayread #wintergames
