I finished this as it was short, but I never felt connected to any of the characters, or invested in the story. In fact I disliked the two slightly more fleshed out characters and the others were very two-dimensional.

The story was okay, and it might improve as the series goes on and we get to know the main character better, but it‘s not for me.

Started this one yesterday in bed. Not sure if I like it so far. Mrs Claus is horrible and I don‘t like the main character much so far either! But I will give it a bit longer and see if it improves.

I think this will be my next Christmassy read, though I‘m hoping to finish a couple of non-Christmas books first.

It is described as “A dose of Hallmark-warmth mixed with crazy witch mayhem!” So it should be an interesting and cosy pick 🥰🎅🏻🧙🏻‍♀️
