Jude Deveraux writes some of my favorite historical #romantsy settings with her castles and knights etc. I really loved: the characters, the setting, and the social structure of fictional Lanconia. I didn‘t love: the way these characters assumed so much and didn‘t communicate well, and the strange turn the plot took near the end with a neighboring kingdom. Overall, I enjoyed reading this one but definitely not as much as A Knight in Shining Armor.

The beginning started a little bit slower than my last two Jude Deveraux reads but it has finally picked up!! #romantsy
