I was very iffy about the scar thing, but it turned out pretty okay. The ending is rather hot stuff for the period it's set in! They're cute, though.

#ThoughtfulThursday

Best thing: Hulk, our eldest and least affectionate rabbit, has suddenly started grooming me while I'm holding her. She's groomed me before but never like this!
Plans: maybe a knit and natter group meet, working and carrying on recataloguing my TBR.
Today: tagged!
Tagging: anyone who wants to.

MoonWitch94 Thanks for playing ☺️ 4y

Less than a chapter in and a complete headdesk moment. Constantia doesn't want to get married, and very quickly we discover this to be because she has a scar on her chest and thus no fashionable man would ever want her. This stuff better not last long or I'm going to give up, despite my affection for the first two books. I'm scarred from head to foot due to skin excoriation disorder; I get asked if I have chicken pox *all the time*. Grow up, girl!
