Late mail delivery from #litsylove after I got back from the first day of school after break was just like a hug. Everyone is on eggshells, it feels like we‘re all just holding our breath! Having to teach tiny students laptop learning in case of virtual learning, no words. Exams are soon- high schoolers are worried we won‘t get to stay in person. I was the smile, here‘s coffee, let me read to the class, support today plus my usual. 🤞🏻HOPE.

Can I just say I got misty-eyed when I opened this package today!!! @Bookgoil and @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks sent some major love.

Out of my 15 years of teaching, this has been my most intense and stressful year yet. These goodies reminded me the importance of self-care and relaxation.

Going back to work tomorrow from holiday break, I feel a little more prepared. I appreciate this community more than words can say. #LitsyLove
