At the urging of her friend Jamee Wells, Cindy goes to school, and things change for the positive when Mr. Mitchell, her English teacher, recommends that she be the cartoonist for the Buford Bugler. To add to her delight, Cindy catches the eye of Bluford High‘s football player and bad boy, Bobby Wallace. She knows that she should avoid Bobby, but he‘s being so nice to her and makes her feel like a princess. Find out if Bobby is being sincere.

Words of wisdom

I do NOT like the way Cindy‘s mom is treating her. Putting her boyfriend before her daughter is horrible. But I am glad that Cindy has friends like James, Amberlynn, and Jamee‘s older sister, Darcy.

My spring break has been extended through April 3rd, so what shall I do? At the recommendation of some former students, I am going to finish reading the Bluford series.
