Cute rhyming book that teaches kids about colors and seasons. The illustrations take up the majority of the page and represent the colors in multiple bright ways.

This book would be a good introduction to colors or seasons for younger children.

This book describes the different colors that are associated with prominent objects or memories from each season. I liked the illustrations in this book because there is a lot of movement shown in the images, between water splashing, birds flying and more. It's easy to associate the colors that are being described by just simply looking at the images.

I loveeee how this book tells the story of the seasons throughout the year with very minimal words, and very powerful pictures. Each page used different senses so I really felt like I was feeling each season.

Pickpick

Picture book, published 2020. This is an amazing book whose story is told mainly through the pictures. It‘s a very simple read with rhyming poetry but it‘s very powerful in the story of the season that it tells. Each page gives you the feeling of each season and what you generally sense in each season. It gives aspects of sights and colors, feelings, smells, etc.

This picture book uses lots of color to add to the story. The illustrations are beautiful and correlate to the words on the page. Some pages are only illustrations and no words!

I‘m not sure how to feel about this story. The illustrations are beautiful and wholistic, but the story is a bit confusing. It is a simple read but may have a underlying meaning.

A lovely picture-book about colors, seasons, and the eventual arrival of a new baby. Beautiful artwork from Felicita Sala!
