In this book, Chantal Knecht recounts several animal trials (yes, animals facing the human justice system), mostly in the Middle Age.
It's a very interesting read about the stupidity of humankind, with the Catholic Church as a recurring character.
In the picture, my "evil" cat who would have probably been burnt alive for being a creature of Satan ;)
