Pickpick

Part two of the duology and my #bookspin for April. The second book is definitely better than the first one, even though volume two often reminded me of Brave New World. But Oldach always manged it well to not let it come this far. The character development is strong and the story has more depth, which I enjoyed a lot. I even managed to deal with the romantic scenes 😄

(Tagged book is part one, while I'm reading the second book)

These are my books for #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin in April, and I'm quite happy with them. New World 2 just came out and I really wanted to read it. And I'm curious about Beowulf. Great spin!

Thank you, @TheAromaOfBooks

TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!! I'm way into the cover for New Worlds! 2y
Jari-chan @TheAromaofBooks It was the cover that made me read book one in the first place 😁 2y

Pickpick

Just barely made it to be a Pick. There were a lot of things that I think aren't developed enough, and needed more depth and explanations. Also, too much of the romantic stuff. Especially, since it's the boring romantic stuff one finds in every romance novel. But the main plot is interesting, and after being annoyed I often went back to being fully captured by the story. I will read the next book as well, and hope for the best.
