I had such a good day today. I baked all day long. Baked through the first 2 Blair Witches and A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 4, (I forgot Sinead O‘Connor has that song Put your Hands on My Body, what a banger, in there while Freddy turns that poor girl into a cockroach) and felt there was just such a light shining through me while baking. And everything came out great. Happy Weekend vibes to all you Littens!

LeahBergen Ooo, what did you bake? 1y
TrishB Sounds fantastic 😁 except for the baking! 1y
Rissreads What she said 🤣 @TrishB 1y

batsy Also want to know what you baked! 😁 1y
CarolynM Happy for you Reggie💕 1y
AmyG Ha! I love that you bake to horror movies!!! Have a wonderful weekend. 1y
RebelReader This so cracked me up! You do you @Reggie! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 1y
Jas16 Sounds like a well deserved awesome day. 1y
BeeMagical 😂 I just watched Barbarian the other day- my other half hates when I put on horror right in the morning 😂 1y
Reggie @BeeMagical Loved that movie! Lots of bad decisions were made-“I gotta see what‘s down there!” “Ma-mah!” Lol 1y
Reggie @Jas16 Thanks, hope you have a great weekend! 1y
Reggie @CarolynM Thanks! 1y
Reggie @LeahBergen @batsy I baked a mountain of biscochitos like I was baking for a wedding. Some oatmeal scotchies, some peanut butter chocolate cookies, coconut bon bons, and some kinda pineapple, cherry, nut candy. There was no rhyme or reason to it, lol. 1y
Reggie @AmyG lol, thanks! You too! 1y
LeahBergen @Reggie They all sound amazing! 🍪 1y
BeeMagical @Reggie It seemed like such a great idea to continue past the cages…🤦🏼‍♀️😂 and the camcorder… (edited) 1y
batsy @Reggie Yes, they all sound so good. Yum! 1y
Bookzombie I love this! I always decorate the Christmas tree while watching Black Christmas (2006 cheesy edition) and Anna and the Apocalypse. Happy Holidays, Reggie! You should be getting a box on Monday. 🎄💗 (edited) 1y
Reggie Lol I don‘t know why I hit send right after your name. But thanks. I love that Black Christmas. I always feel like Lacey Chabert never got her due and the other girl, the Final Destination 3 girl. I have not seen Anna and the Apocalypse but a lot of my friends like it a lot. I will keep a look out for it. Thanks and Happy Holidays, Margie! 1y
vivastory I watched a holiday horror movie last weekend that I went into with low expectations & that genuinely caught me off guard: Better Watch Out. Have you watched it? If not, I highly recommend going in knowing as little as possible. It's a surprising great time! Also, I watched the original Black Xmas last year during the holidays & was so disturbed by it I couldn't sleep for a night. The remake is fantastic too. 1y
Reggie @vivastory Yes!!! With the crazy kid! I felt so bad for all the guys and his slimy best friend. The paint can!!! Oh yeah the original is great. I watched the 2006 one a couple of weeks ago. 1y
vivastory @Reggie Can you imagine being Home Aloned to death? 🎨☠️ The embarrassment, lol. 1y
vivastory Also, I watched a movie very recently that was in the category of “Not a Horror Movie, But Feels Like a Horror Movie“ & I haven't stopped thinking about it: since Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.. So good. So disturbing. 1y
Reggie Lololol. Yes!!!!! And the ending kiiiillllls me. The confession on the beach. Ughhh @vivastory (edited) 1y
vivastory Haha, right?! Brilliant twist! Apparently the director's follow-up movie with Bette Davis was even more unhinged, which is hard to imagine. I plan on watching it soon, lol. 1y
Centique I love that you were baking up a storm like it‘s your Super Hero power (only one of your powers though! There‘s also reading and writing killer reviews!) 1y
Centique Also I‘d just like to plug Wednesday - yes it‘s YA but nicely gothic and some of the monster scenes are proper scary! 1y
Reggie @Centique that baking day was one of my favorites days in a while. I haven‘t seen it! But I hear Christina Ricci is in there so I‘ll have to check it out. If they were cool enough to bring her back. I‘m all for it. 1y
Centique @Reggie oh it is DRIPPING with cool actors. Jenna Ortega is Divine. 1y
Suet624 Oh my goodness. I don‘t bake at all. I wish I did though. You sound like an amazing cook with all that yummy food you just made. 1y

My dad moved to Albuquerque right before COVID, and I finally had the chance to visit! My first time in New Mexico and I can see why he loves it. So beautiful. I'm really hoping I can make it back for the hot air balloon festival!

(PS: before visiting my only frame of reference was Breaking Bad, so my dad took me around to some of the locations and memorabilia spots. Hence the Walter White missing poster 😂)

Leftcoastzen 👏👏it‘s a beautiful state . So glad to see you got to visit Dad! 2y
wanderinglynn Great photos! So glad you got to visit. 2y
marleed Oh how fun, I love that you finally get to visit your dad in his new space! 2y

Librariana I lived in El Paso, Texas for many years and we greatly benefitted from being in such close proximity to NM. We loved driving to Las Cruces, Albuquerque, and Santa Fe. Terrific places all! Hoped you and your Dad enjoyed a great time together 😊 2y
TrishB Great pics 👍🏻 2y
Cathythoughts Yes ! Fab pics 💫 2y
AmyG We went to NM last Oct and I loved it. What a beautiful state. Looks like you had a great visit! 2y
Kammbia1 I lived in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe from 1994-2003 when I was much younger. I enjoyed my time in both cities. There is a natural beauty in New Mexico that‘s unmatched in the rest of the country. Glad you are enjoying your time in the state. 2y
Tamra NM is really beautiful and the food is divine! 2y
TravelsWithBooks I passed through last year. Went to the Breaking Bad store haha. Still want to visit the Walter White House. 2y
swishandflick I loved it so much! We also spent a day in Santa Fe (amazing) and an afternoon in Madrid (obsessed). Absolutely gorgeous state! @Librariana @Kammbia1 2y
swishandflick @TravelsWithBooks haha, he took me to the Breaking Bad store too! I asked about the house and he said they've changed it some and added a wall because so many tourists would flock there and throw pizzas on the roof 😂 2y
BarbaraBB What a wonderful picture. You both look so happy 😍 2y

Mehso-so

I‘ve visited New Mexico several times (no, you don‘t need a passport to go there), so I decided to read this history written as part of a bicentennial series of state histories. It was okay, but not a page-turner.
