And after an opening night disaster leads to a heartbreaking discovery, Wren realizes that her mother has a serious problema problem that cant be wiped away or covered up. After all the progress shes made, can Wren start over again with her devastating new normal? And will she ever be able to heal the broken trust with her mom?

Middle school is hard enough when it doesn‘t include starting over at a new school because you‘ve moved after your parents recently divorced, when the things you like are considered “weird” at worst, “unusual” at best, when you‘re splitting time between your father & his new, growing family, and your mom who is becoming more irritable & withdrawn, but this is where Wren finds herself in this story about divorce, addiction, bullying, & friendship.
