The Portals of Tartae: The Land with the Two Moons | Marcia Soligo
1 post | 1 read | 1 to read
Olivia Halin leads an ordinary life, or at least she thinks so. She spends her days at school and working at an old bookshop, hiding behind books and stories. She is unaware of the mysteries of the world and dreams about a life of adventure. Until she falls into one.
Olivia falls into another land, a place with magic and two moons gleaming in the sky. A world of warriors, sorcery, and secrets. She is about to embark on a quest more exciting than anything she has ever encountered, uncovering truths about the worlds, the Portals and herself.

Pickpick

If I were describing this book to someone, I would say it's similar to The Chronicles of Narnia, only more modern and ultimately higher quality! It gives the reader a whimsical feeling, that you get while experiencing a new world through a book. The writing is poetic & absolutely breathtaking at certain points! Overall, I think The Portals of Tartae is a highly underrated book that has the potential to become a modern classic portal fantasy novel!
