Erik Vs. Everything | Christina Uss
1 post | 1 read
Each member of Erik Sheepflattener's modern-day Viking-heritage family has a motto to live by. Erik is developing a motto he can truly believe in : avoid stuff. But when he and his older sister Brunhilde spend the summer with their rough-and-tumble cousins in Minnesota, axe-wielding Bru gets the idea to name and conquer all of Erik's fears.

Pickpick

Erik comes from a family of modern-day Vikings who conquer whatever stands in their way, be it cheerleading or noodling. Erik is afraid of everything, even squirrels. This is a very quirky story. I loved the family interactions and the humor. I am just afraid young readers might deem it too silly at the start.
