Saga Day! #58 is out today.

cheesemoi Ah, I‘d fallen out of touch with this one! I used to buy the volumes religiously lol, but the hiatus knocked it off my radar a few years ago! 2y

What can I say? It‘s Saga. IYKYK. If you haven‘t read it, go grab the first issue or trade edition. Go. I‘ll be here listening for your screams of delight and pain, joy and sadness. You can thank me later.

TracyReadsBooks Love this comic sooooooo much! 2y

This is my favorite cover so far of the new batch of issues.

The cliffhanger at the end of issue #56 is quickly dispatched, and the plot is incrementally moved forward.

Having read all of Saga up to the recent return via collected volumes, I find it a lot harder to stay engaged with the narrative only getting 20-25 pages per month, compared to getting a much bigger chunk of story at a time.

sarahbellum As hard as it is, I‘ve been waiting to read until the collection comes out 😬 2y
Kimberlone @sarahbellum that is impressive! It‘s hard to me to resist since they hit Hoopla as they are released and I can instant borrow them. But I‘m sure the experience will be better to get the whole story in one chunk rather than spread out over a year 2y

I love hoopla and cannot express how excited I am it includes new Saga issue releases 🙌 Seriously the best thing ever since my local doesn't carry them.

#NCBD is just a little more special when it‘s also Saga release day! Happily, this series has picked up right where it left off and continues to be gorgeous (love, love, love Staples artwork) with a story that is always surprising and full of “what the WHAT moments.” So excited to spend more time in this world with these characters! Some other good things to read too—Star Wars, Shang-Chi, Super Massive plus, a Skottie Young variant.

DGRachel Ooh, that means it‘s “time to check Hoopla” day for me! 2y
