A brilliantly inventive and often funny story of family and identity, inheritance and birthright, ambiguous loss and finding your way, Frank Walsh’s voice will stay with you long after you’ve finished reading.

Half way through the month and I haven't made much progress on my bingo lines! But really enjoying the books for this month. The Deadwood Encore shares the unique voices of two generations of Whelans, each shaped by the gifts of the seventh son of a seventh son. One struggling to understand his emerging powers and the other looking back from death to the loved ones he left behind. Really original and quirky. @aromaofbooks
