I'm a fan of Jane Corry but I have to say this wasn‘t my favourite. The plot wascgood but many of the twists I predicted or didn't enjoy as much. Its a slow build story with a satisfying conclusion. The writing is her usual style. You're kept in the dark as to what Emily did until the end. I did enjoy the flashbacks to the war, giving a little more depth to the father. The ending tied it off well. #Netgalley 3*
