Throwback to Friday, when Cha-Cha helped me learn more about 20th century opera. I‘ve since moved on to a loooooooong but fascinating chapter about staging.

It's taken me most of today to realize I have zero
motivation because it's the end of the school year,
and apparently my brain still takes that as its cue to
go into Break Mode even though I graduated high school in 2001.

So here I am, learning about opera because it's
basically the only activity that appeals at the mo. I'm
still in the 17th century, which is when opera tried to
decide what it was gonna be when it grew up.

I popped into the thrift store on my bike ride and discovered the books were 50% off today! I shelled out $0.75 for two volumes of music history. The tagged book has been on my radar for a while now, and I figured I might as well double up on genres while everything was so cheap.
