The The Angels of L19 | 
pick(2021) Liverpool, 1984. Robert is a recent convert in an evangelical congregation; he's also a sensitive young man dealing with the death of his mother and a father damaged by war. Then he starts having visions of supernatural beings who might be angels. It's a coming of age story, a period mood piece, a surrealist horror tale, and a big slice of what the what did I just read. I'm calling it a pick, but really I'm still making up my mind.
