Kind of ran out of steam on the Goldy series, but really enjoyed the first few, and got some good recipes! So, getting back into it with audio of this one. Book club read for April! Libby told me there were two people waiting (probably other book club members), so I went ahead and finished it. Meanwhile, I‘ve only just started the book for March, and the meeting is Monday!
Anyway, this is an enjoyable #cozymystery with #foodoncover and a likable main character. Some of the side characters are a little two-dimensional, but all the food sounds amazing. Don‘t read it when you‘re hungry! #Booked2019

pickI really like that Goldy's life changes through the series instead of time standing still and her being in the same place she was in the first book. The story in this one is a bit weak and there's a bit of a wistful feeling at the end, like you can almost tell this will be one of the last books. Now it's time to go on to the last one

pickBarely a week into June and already way off my planned reading list...What happened was, I got sick and needed something comforting to read, so I switched over to Crunch Time, which has been on my Kindle for awhile. I've read this whole cozy mystery series, and love it. Crunch Time lived up to the other books. I felt like the resolution was a little bit rushed/pulled together, but still enjoyed it. Now I have to read the next in the series!
