I finished the amazing The Covenant of Water and the Indian meal we ordered (both because of the book, and because the kid is going back to school tomorrow and he can‘t afford to pay for the only Indian food in his small university town) so now I‘m starting this second in this delightful series.

LeahBergen Mmm, Indian food! 3mo

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join in if you want!

117/150 This is the sequel to Death and Croissants, and I'm happy to say it's as equally amusingly silly as the first novel. Richard and Valerie are tangled in another murder, this time involving french chefs, goat cheese, stolen deserts, blackmail and illegitimate children. Richard is less bumbling and clueless this time around, but still sees the world through the eyes of the old movies he adores. I hope the author plans another book soon. 4 ⭐

KathyWheeler I‘m listening to this right now. 2y

I like a varied selection in my reading choices.
Death and Fromage - Its a delightfully silly, frothy murder mystery. Hard to take it serious when it's so funny.
Doctor Who: The Stone Rose - I just started this so I'm not sure how its going to be. However, its Rose Tyler and the 10th Doctor in ancient Rome, what's not to love?
All The Marvels - History of Marvel Comics. Informative and huge waves of nostalgia.
