Mel loves it here the beautiful landscapes and wildlife make it easy to forget her real-world troubles. But this year is different. With Mom gone, every moment in the park is a reminder of the past. Today, I saw this “I Survived” graphic novel at Sam‘s Club and bought it for my boys. After school, I excitedly gave it to my 10 year old because it‘s totally up his alley, and he immediately pulls the original version out of his backpack. Of all the books, he checked it out from the school library yesterday. 😂
