No annual girl‘s weekend to the Savannah Book Festival this year as the hotel rates are too high. However, I came up with a solution. A girl‘s weekend to the @obx and visiting bookstores there along with a weekend of books , bookish crafts, great food and friends! I can‘t wait to return to the beach!

TheQuietQuill There is a wonderful bookstore in Corolla OBX called “Island Bookstore.” We go every year when we vacation there, and behind the shop is the cutest smoothie shop! It‘s really close to the Currituck lighthouse too. Have fun! 1y

I‘ll be going to Frisco, North Carolina Outerbanks from October 1 thru October 8 with 17 people with my daughter, grandchildren and in-laws. I‘m looking forward to the trip! I will be reading The Angelsey Murders Book 1-6 by Conrad Jones!

EadieB @Andrew65 We‘ve been going to our beach house but this is the first time going somewhere else. Have to stay in the US as we can‘t fly anywhere since we didn‘t get booster. My husband wants to go to Key West Florida as we have never been there. We also want to go to the badlands out In South Dakota and Mt. Rushmore. (edited) 2y

Andrew65 Plenty to see in the US. Are you planning to get the vaccination this fall or chosen not to vaccinate, I am pondering as medication I am on for Crohn‘s Disease make me immunosuppreased. 2y
