Craving
Craving: Steel Brothers Saga #1 | Helen Hardt
17 posts | 46 read | 7 to read
After being left at the altar, Jade Roberts seeks solace at her best friend's ranch on the Colorado western slope. Her humiliation still ripe, she doesn't expect to be attracted to her friend's reticent brother, but when the gorgeous cowboy kisses her, all bets are off. Talon Steel is broken. Having never fully healed from a horrific childhood trauma, he simply exists, taking from women what is offered and giving nothing in return...until Jade Roberts catapults into his life. She is beautiful, sweet, and giving, and his desire for her becomes a craving he fears he'll never be able to satisfy. Passion sizzles between the two lovers...but long-buried secrets haunt them both and may eventually tear them apart.

I have had this book in my kindle library for years, since I‘m wanting to read something that‘s not mystery thriller or Romantasy I figured I give it a go

Holy cow! 🌶🌶 I‘ve heard good things about this series and finally decided to give them a shot when I found them in my library! I loved it! I want book two! I NEED book two! I am definitely going to the library tomorrow and checking it out because I have to know what‘s next for Talon and Jade!

I‘m conflicted here. There was a great deal of storyline development here that didn‘t work per se and the title ends with a cliffhanger which is also okay as the follow up book is already available. Talon and Jade are a complex couple and Talon is next level tortured hero. I am anxious to see how the storyline reveals itself. Truly a spicy read...I hope I won‘t be let down with book 2

When I started this book I wasn‘t really into the romance and as the book went on it got better for me but I still just felt something was off through this book maybe book 2 will be better their is hope that this couple will overcome ther difficulties. Also I can recommend this audiobook as the narration was amazing

Lots and lots of steamy sex scenes and the story flowed really well. I didn't like that it ended with a cliff hanger and nothing really wrapped up. To many loose ends. I get that she's trying to lead into the next story but it was like being given half a story.

Even though I found it to be a so so read, there's enough there for me to continue on with the series. At least until I find out what the big secret is. I bought this one when it was cheap but I downloaded the next one from the library.

This book... it was okay. I feel like a lot of the sexual scenes were there as filler and a lot of it was repetitive-- what they said, what they thought. The ending leaves you hanging, and I'm curious as to what happens, but I don't think I can continue the series if the rest of the books were like this. Moving on.... *sorry mom, not for me lol*

Airykah13 I feel the same way! The only reason I may read the second one is to find out what the hell is wrong with Talon. The back and forth between him and Jade got on my nerves, lol 7y

My mom recommended this book to me... and I feel a little awkward knowing she read the endless amount of sex scenes. I'm only at 60% on my Kindle and sheesh, it's one right after another. Strange thing is: I'm not exactly hating it; I do wish there was more of a plot, but it's getting me out of my reading slump.

What can I say about this book? There are at least two instances of the love interest almost raping the main character- which is then passed off as "romantic." ? The relationship is abusive as all get out, and again claimed as "romantic." ? I was hoping this book would be better because it features one of my favorite tropes, a big family with each book focused on a different brother. Based on the contents of this book, I won't continue on.

My very first serious bail. Read it on recommendation of a friend. Definitely not my kind of book. Moving on.

Was recommended by a friend. The sex was good. The plot was not. Light trigger warning. The guy's kind of a douchebag.
