This is the 4th book in the Gasper's Cove series. They are short cozy mysteries set-in small-town Nova Scotia. When a guest is murdered at the local B&B, Val, the main character and manager of Rankin's General Store, gets involved and puts herself at risk. The setting, the interesting characters, the local history and the crafting tidbits make this an easy, charming read and a nice palate cleanser between more serious tomes. 3.5/5 stars!
