@Sace @Laughterhp @TheAromaofBooks I finished this fun #lmpbc book!
If you like love triangles that include ghosts, talking smart ass cats, strong women vs the pits of hell this might be the book for you.
I will mail it back by Wed!

Chrissyreadit @Sace @TheAromaofBooks @Laughterhp how does The Blue Castle sound? I will read and send along in the same order? I really enjoyed this round so much! 3y
Laughterhp The Blue Castle sounds good! 3y

Chrissyreadit @TheAromaofBooks you crack me up!!!! I need to find some books you have not read! Although you really do seem ok with re reads. 3y
TheAromaofBooks If it's a book I enjoy, I love rereads. It's like visiting old friends for me. The tension of needing to know WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT isn't there, so I'm able to relax and enjoy the story a lot more. I'm one of those weird people who usually doesn't mind spoilers! 😂 3y
Chrissyreadit @TheAromaofBooks I love spoilers! I do not like unhappy or unresolved endings. And I‘m more likely to read a book if I know the story because I‘m more about the characters than the plot. 3y
TheAromaofBooks I'm the same way. I don't usually look up spoilers for things like thrillers or mysteries, but ironically books that many people wouldn't consider suspenseful, like romance or literary fiction, I frequently check the ending to make sure things turn out “right“ - I'm especially that way if the story is about a married couple having a rough patch. I don't like reading books that end in divorce so I don't want to read it they aren't happy in the end! 3y
Chrissyreadit @TheAromaofBooks I am exactly the same way! Unless it‘s about breaking away from a bad relationship I want a happy ending in my fiction! 3y

This is the time of the month where I realize I am running out of month!! 😂 #WeeklyForecast - reading the tagged book (#LMPBC) & also NEED to read Nine (due for review by 9/25) & Beach Read (also #LMPBC). Virtual Unicorn is due at the library by the end of the week as well. Thankfully all 4 are also on #BookSpinBingo ... although none will actually give me a bingo!! Ah well, there is always next month!
@Cinfhen

Allylu I feel like I am running out of month, too - but then I realized it‘s only the 20th! I will be doing good to get my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin read. 4y
MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm I definitely feel like the end of the month is closing in much faster than I‘m prepared for. 😅 I had high ambitions for September, but at this point I‘m just hoping to finish my current read by the end of the month. 🤦‍♀️ 4y
Cinfhen Where are the days going???? 4y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Ideally the are 5 books I want to read plus 2 short stories to finish. I might have to push some to October & November. How is it the 20th already? 4y

Book 4 finished for #AwesomeAugust Readathon

To be honest, I read this book as fast as possible to get through it. The writing was really clunky and I found a lot of issues with it. The men bickering and fighting were really annoying. The storyline itself was interesting and I liked all the creatures that showed up.

Not saying anything more so our #LMPBC group can enjoy it. (Hopefully more than me).

TheAromaofBooks I just started your book yesterday!!! 4y
Sace I can't wait to see your comments! I think I ended up liking it, but I am a pretty forgiving reader. But yeah, there was some clunk to the style that it took a while for me to get used to. 4y

For today's #octphotochallenge the question is #FantasyorScifi and my answer is YES! I like my scifi w/a little fantasy and my fantasy w/a little scifi and I read voraciously in both categories. Bonus if there's a cat. 😸
@LibrarianRyan

bmsddk What are some of your other recommended taste-of-both books/series? 7y

Summon the Keeper has such a Pratchettesque absurdity about it. I didn't think I'd dislike it, but I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I do. It's clever and funny and if you enjoy Discworld with its weirdness and magic and quirkiness than this should be right up your alley.

lostinagoodbk I don't know why this made me smile so much. It's a delightfully absurd book. 8y
