I signed up for #BookRiotTBR #GetTBR and this was my first quarter picks. I wanted a big fantasy book like Priory of the Orange Tree and I got 2 fantasy picks and 1 sci-fi pick.
I‘ve heard of Uprooted and The Women‘s War but haven‘t heard of the Chilling Effect.
Has anyone read any of these? Any you recommend I should start first.
I currently have to listen on audio if my lib has them with the libs closed and my book buying ban.

xicanti I liked Uprooted overall, but I thought the pacing was off and the romantic component didn‘t fly for me. Also, I recommend you wait for a print copy; I did audio and the narrator has terrible breath control. I wasn‘t at all impressed with her performance. 4y

aartichapati I loved Uprooted! Such a lovely story about friendship. I did not like The Women‘s War and how it approached and dealt with rape. 4y
