After a slightly slow start I'm now intrigued to find out where this story will take me with Miryem stuck in fairy land with a cruel Staryk King & Irina married to a beautiful Tsar with a dark magic & fire demon seeking to drink her life. The parallel story is becoming more intertwined keeping me hooked as I keep warm under a cosy blanket with a cup of tea

The Bear and the NightingaleTheAromaofBooks @JaneyWaneyB - I didn't enjoy Spinning Silver as much as Uprooted, but it still had a lot of fantastic atmosphere. I haven't gotten around to reading The Bear and The Nightingale trilogy yet, but it has been on my list forever!!! 4y
