The Lord of the Rings
A Gentleman In Moscow
Outlander

Want to play? @BethM @Read4life @MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm

dabbe 1: YES! 🤩 2: Now on the TBR. 3: Does it count as a reread for me if I only reread the sexy parts? (and yes, I even have the pages flagged with post-it-notes!) 😂 Thanks for sharing. 💚💙💚 12h
TheSpineView @dabbe I get the rereading of parts. I read the ending 4 times of The Running Grave. I was just couldn't believe the last scene and thought it might change somehow. 😬🙄😏 11h
ChaoticMissAdventures Ohh I do love A Gentleman In Moscow!! 10h

It hurts a little to say goodbye to the Hobbits again. I really felt with Frodo and at the same time I was so proud of him. Loved the others, too. And there are even female characters! When I first read it six years ago, I didn't really pay attention to this. This is how we change as we grow older and this way we can find new things in old beloved books. ❤

AnnCrystal 👏Except for graphic novels, I have never reread a book, don't know why...this makes me wonder about some of the old ones I read years ago yet still love. One day, maybe 🤔. 😉👍💝. (edited) 2w
Jari-chan @AnnCrystal Rereads come to you when the time is right 😊 No pressure. When I was younger I didn't used to read books again, either. That has changed now 🤭 2w
AnnCrystal @Jari-chan 💕😉👍💝. 2w

The first part of this book is my favourite of the whole series because of Merry and Pippin. I just love those two ❤ But I also admire Sam's role in the story. Again, I was buffled by the importance of his character and how he grows in this story. I didn't really like the fight at the end, that's all. It was a bit too much for my taste. Which doesn't change anything about the greatness of this book (there could be more women, but you know that).

"I want to see mountains again, Gandalf, mountains, and then find somewhere where I can rest..."

I've been so stressed with work lately. I've honestly been quoting this quote to my hubby almost every night. Today, he surprised me with a quick trip to the mountains so we can get some nature therapy and play in the snow.

Plus, we continued listening to the tagged book, which we started last year. It's taking us a while but that's okay.

dabbe Your husband is a keeper! 🩷💜❤️ 1mo

3.5✨ The face of Aragon and sleeping cats. This was a tough read for me because I watched the movie before I read it. There was so much more detail, battles, and history. It was a lot placed in one book. This isn‘t my favorite but I‘m glad I can say I finally read the Lord of the Rings series! Yay! #FellowshipofTolkien @Daisey @JazzFeathers

Daisey I get it. I love it, but I also completely agree that it‘s a lot. 2mo
dabbe I can just look at Viggo all day long. 🤩🤩🤩 2mo

Starting to catch up! Hopefully, I will finish Return of the King by Friday, and then Anne of Green Gables or #Naturalitsy Ultra Processed People. @Andrew65
