This is in my top five of Sackett novels. I love this story of Tell Sackett fighting with everything he has and kinfolk come riding in to save his bacon at the last minute.

Yes, I am aware that L'Amour is formulaic but I enjoy these westerns like I enjoy John Wayne movies. Just something about them is comforting.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was several different stories in this book. I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars.

I always enjoy a bit of time spent in the worlds L'Amour creates. Should have this done today at lunch.

Book #21 of 2023: “Sitka” by Louis L‘Amour

I‘ve always loved L‘Amour‘s writing and “Sitka” was no exception. Picked this one up in Ketchikan and really enjoyed reading it as we passed through the icy strait ❤️

A good classic for a mid week read! 4 ⭐️

One of my favorite Louis L'Amour books. A story not so much about the push West, but of finding one's self in the trials of life. L'Amour never disappoints.

Taking a break from my gardening books. It's been years since I read this. I always list it as a favorite by L'Amour
