pickI liked this book, but it was not a good choice to read so soon after finishing #Maisie Dobbs. I hadn't realized both books were set in 1920's London, feature a female investigator and WWI war veteran. Oops! Comparisons were inevitable. Maisie is such a great character that this book fell a bit flat. Still a "pick", but I would have enjoyed it more had I read this a few months later.
