To the Moon and Back | Eliana Ramage

While this certainly captured my attention throughout (and knocked #OK off my #ReadTheUSChallenge), I had a hard time connecting with the main narrator, Steph. She has a hard time reconciling love with her own ambition to become the first Cherokee female astronaut. The book largely revolves around her relationships which ultimately disappointed me. Steph‘s selfish, reckless & careless behavior makes her more frustrating than fun to read about!

Susanita Beautiful flowers! 3d
TorieStorieS @Susanita Thank you!! I haven‘t pulled out my fall vase yet! 😬 3d

Uneven collection entertains, but is not up to the usual quality of King‘s writing. Opening body horror story, which should be a strong “bookend” to the collection, is scary but amateurish. A story about the Dillinger Gang bank robbers was good. Audiobook narrators voice their roles well throughout. #audiobook #ok #Scarathlon #TeamWhoYaGonnaCall #horror #spookybook #pumpkinspicereadathon @FlynnDewey

FlynnDewey I love Oliver Platt! I'll have to look this up, if only for his reading. lol 2y
