Read4life He‘s keeping a big secret. At first I thought he was also grieving the loss of someone very close to him when the two met. Now that doesn‘t feel right. But it still feels BIG. 1y

vlwelser I love this a strange amount. I read the Edinburgh part while I was in Edinburgh. It was a weird coincidence. 1y

mcctrish @AmyG despite being semi frustrated with the whole story line, yes they need to get together. Max‘s secret better actually be big and not just dragged through the whole book for nothing. I hope Josie stays in Edinburgh, this is my favourite part so far 🤣 1y

CoffeeNBooks I'm just getting tired of Max being weird- he bought Josie a nice pair of earrings even though he didn't really know her but he liked her. He left without saying goodbye the next day. Then he acts weird every time he runs into her even though he really likes her. 1y

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I am thinking it'll be an ending of happy, but apart. Maybe just friends. This is the author's debut and I notice there's a lot of "jolting" and "pushing hair behind her ears". Enough that it's noticeable. I really just want Josie to visit with her grandparents. They seem adorable. 1y
