Yesterday I finished this book. I need very long, because it's very stressy for me at the moment and this book isn't very thrilling. Perhaps I don't understand the books of Neil Gaiman, but I always ask myself What? and Why? I don't like the persons and I need more background informations. The book was too short for me.

#fantasy

Moony The points for #scarathlon are 1 pt for reading and 1 pt for #scarySavengerHunt bescause one character dies. So 2 pt for #teamslaughter @Clwojick 4y

Buechersuechtling I couldn‘t understand all the enthusiasm for this book, either. I very much felt like you did when I read it. There is so much weirdness in the story and so few explanation. I‘m sure it‘s me but that I can accept in very narrow limits, only. You see, “Neverwhere” I loved; “Anansi Boys” was okay but already a bit exaggerated for my taste. So from “The Ocean …” on I‘m biased/sceptical towards his books … And it‘s nice to not be alone with this. 4y

This might be the sweetest book I‘ve ever read. So charming, with lovely illustrations on autumn. My son loved it too. We just didn‘t want it to end. 🎃 🍂 😍
