☆☆ I preferred the book "Eight Hundred Grapes by Laura Dave" over this one in its entirely. However, I liked that the protagonist didn't feel pushed to find her identity in a relationship in this book. I think what I didn't like was the winery owners willingness to seemingly give up all so much of the business to their new employee just a few weeks after she started work. I just didn't find it believable, even with marriage & health problems.
Listening to the Audiobook and really enjoying this one 🤗
Loved seeing how Hannah implemented #ichooseme and all the interesting changes that brought into her life. Ending was different from what I usually like but any other ending, in my opinion, wouldn‘t have felt proper. A slow read but a great read!
This story was sweet but slow. I didn‘t really care for the main character so it was just meh for me.
Taking a break from current novels to read books about books and some “classics!” I was an awful student in school and never fully read or appreciated the required readings 😐
I quit my job in NYC and moved spontaneous to New Zealand and work now in micro brewery (instead of winery). I feel very familiar what the heroine going through 😁
PS I like the story but the writing is to naive. As a wine lover, I have no patience for author using wine to sell their books. just promote it as what it is- wine style eat pray love mantra..then I wouldnt waste my time. It's not bad. it's just not for me
I enjoyed this sweet novel. I smiled for most of it. Perfect light read.
Next book from library haul this weekend.
