Pickpick

1985 man- it had the answers. This is the best stranger book I‘ve ever read, and that‘s coming from someone I law enforcement.

It‘s the finger reading always makes my heart smile.
We‘ve been reading together since she was 4 she‘s 8 now and totally TRI-lingual. Also year after year after year kids love these bears…

Bookzombie So sweet! I read those books as a kid too, lol. 1y

Every day leading up to Halloween, I'll be posting a two sentence horror story, saving the "more unsettling ones" for my Medium and Twitter feeds. If you enjoy trick-or-treating, I'll see you again tomorrow for another one of these twisted little licorices of fright. #shocktober #horrorween #writersoflitsy #7daysofhorror #flashfiction #horror #shortstory #strangerdanger #notagirlscout #spooktober #chills #run

Mehso-so

I almost never catch up on challenges but there were a few from yesterday I didn't want to miss. #strangerdanger #hallowreads! I found this book disappointing. The earlier storyline with Ruth was weird and creepy but you couldn't quite figure out what kind of creepy. The later storyline with the long walking journey made you want answers about why, but the answers ended up being unsatisfactory and the niece character was annoying. ⭐️⭐️ 🙁

lovelybookshelf I was disappointed with this one, too. 😔 7y
Natasha.C.Barnes @lovelybookshelf Boo! I'm sorry. So many people seemed to like it, right? 😕😕😕 7y
lovelybookshelf Yeah, the hype was unreal! This one got off on the wrong foot with me right from the start (with its descriptions of the foster kids in the house) and never redeemed itself. 7y

LyndseyReads Same! I liked things about it, but ultimately didn't get the hype. 7y
Natasha.C.Barnes @LyndseyReads Yep! In looking back I realize I originally gave it 3 stars because there were moments I liked or felt should be appreciated, but other 3 star books on my list have been much better than this, so I had to downgrade it. 🙃 7y

#HallowReads #day6 #StrangerDanger When Autopsy Bliss invited the devil to come to Breathed, Ohio, Fielding Bliss never thought he'd appear. Then during the heatwave of that summer, a boy called Sal appears, claiming to be the devil, answering the invitation.Fielding takes him home where it's assumed he's just a runaway, but when word spreads and strange accidents happen, is this stranger exactly who he's claimed to be? Stranger danger indeed.🌞😈

Day 6: #strangerdanger

Don't make a choose your own adventure rookie mistake. Never accept stew from a stranger's cauldron. 😝
