I read 15 books in June, and by far my favorite book was 'The North Water' (by Ian McGuire) - A Maritime Noir adventure set on a whaling boat in the Arctic Waters in 1859, it's dark, violent, and profane. Also, there are polar bears which could be just polar bears, or a metaphor...
