#ReadHarderChallenge by #BookRiot #Task3 Read a book by a woman and/or an AOC than won a literary award in 2018 led me to this book, not sure I would have read it otherwise. The protagonist, a black Texas Ranger, is deeply flawed in his own right and those flaws bleed into this case. Most of the storyline wrapped up except concerning his own family which I assume will continue in the second book in this series. [

Pickpick

Fortunately for me, I had already most of the books mentioned in this one, which helped me enjoy it quite a bit. For someone unfamiliar with some of these classics, it probably wouldn't have gone over so well. This has made me really want to revisit them from this POV. This book, while enjoyed it quite a bit, is definitely for this who love classics and/or lit classes but not much for others. This was my #letterR for #LitsyAtoZ
