pickBoth of these stories were delightful! The first, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, is one of the lightest and most simply enjoyable books from the #1001books list that I‘ve come across in a while. Mrs. Harris is a continually determined and optimistic person. I also watched the movie, which was enjoyable, but of course, needlessly changed some details.
@Kimberlone and I went to see The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes for her birthday! Honestly I loved it. I thought the movie was excellently executed. I LOVE the og Hunger Games books and movies, but this film was over all a much better film.

We just watched the film adaptation of the book, and I really enjoyed it! It's been about 10 years since I read the novel, so it wasn't fresh in my memory. pickPassion. I ended up looking up the definition, and it stated as “a strong and barely controllable emotion.” The passion that goes into hate and love are perhaps too similar that sometimes, it could be frightening. This book definitely represented it well. A light summer read!
