Eve Duncan has a new ghost in her life and she‘s pushing hard to have the mystery of her death solved before the culprit can take another girl‘s life. A pleasant surprise at the end too

Eh, decent writing but this was not satisfying to read; maybe because it‘s the second in a trilogy and I didn‘t read the first. I traded books with my sister in laws mother in law because I was out of books at the lake. Very in depth knowledge about the subject matter but the end is left hanging and you don‘t get answers! Book #46 in 2023

Eve & Joe are back in action when his ex, Diane, asks for help. Diane is hiding a number of secrets including the discovery of a possible medical miracle. A discovery that a pharmaceutical exec. will do anything to bury. Diane's work has put a target on her back. Eve, Joe & their friends may just get caught in the crosshairs too. With too many characters, an unlikable heroine and unbelievable villain this was not a strong entry in the series. 3🌟

The Persuasion is another entry in the Eve Duncan series. Eve, Joe and Michael are important members of the cast but it is Jane and Caleb‘s story. The plot was a little convoluted, perhaps reflecting the characters, their relationships and their gifts but mounting tension, a robbery caper and a selfless act provide a satisfying thrill ride. Another lively game of cat and mouse by Johansson. 3+⭐️

The last book in this Eve Duncan kidnapping trilogy we find out whether Eve makes it out alive, whether she will have a relationship with her father and whether Doan is in control or a puppet.

Loved this! Jane is the focus of an obsessed psychopath and she‘ll need everyone around her in order to survive. She will also have to trust the one person who scares her the most!!!

LoverOfLearning The tagged book by Iris Johnasen is phenomenal! It was one of the few books that I've read that I didnt want to put down. I read it in 3 sittings and I'm normally a slow reader. 4y
tpixie I used to read all of her books. Then joined 3 book clubs. I‘m so behind in all my series. 4y
Booknerd2 @LoverOfLearning I agree. It was so good. I‘ve read all of hers and don‘t think there‘s one I haven‘t loved! 4y

Ugh, did not like this book at all! Cheesy, dramatic, over the top, ridiculous. Not my taste at all! I would‘ve put it down, but someone from worked loaned it to me so I felt like I had to give it a chance. I won‘t be reading anymore by this author. If you like her books, great! They truly just aren‘t for me.
