3/5⭐️ (Good)
I liked the puzzles, the premise and the twist at the end but it was very YA. I don‘t care about the love triangle. The supposed reason for the game was kind of lame in my opinion. Still, it has hooked me enough that I will continue with the series

This is my book for #I so I‘ve now competed #LitsyAtoZ @Texreader

One more to check off the #10BeforeTheEnd list too @ChaoticMissAdventures

mcctrish I did it on audio and I think I will listen to the next one - it was an entertaining listen but very YA 6d
kspenmoll Yay!!! Impressive that you fulled this challenge! 6d
Sace @mcctrish I had a free book reward from ThriftBooks and I used it for the second book. I had sort of convinced myself I didn‘t need to continue but I got to the surprise at the end and decided I had to keep going. 😂 6d

Sace @kspenmoll I know! It is not like me to complete challenges. As soon as I declare I‘m going to do a challenge it feels like required reading 🤣 6d
Texreader Fantastic!! I still have the letter V to go!! Just one more! Congratulations!! 6d
ChaoticMissAdventures ✔ ✔Great job! So much progress, love the feeling of 100%s 6d
Sace @Texreader Good luck! I had a lot of fun with this. 6d

4½✨

Such a raw, vulnerable and intimate memoir.
I've always been fascinated by Demi. I admire her work and controversial voice.
Now knowing how she was struggling through it all... I'm in total awe of her.

This is such a great series!
I love Ruby's voice; her inner conflict and the drama that she endures is so intense and authentic
I would have chosen a different ending to the love interests, but I can be cruel like that.

I just found out there's a fourth book that came out 4 years after all this, so I definitely need to get my hands on it!

I'm pretty much done with the Reunion trope.
Especially when it comes to dual timelines. They all seem to blend together now. Just another close-knit group of suspects with buried pasts, set against a college backdrop that feels a bit too far removed from real life.

This book wasn't terrible, I'm just really tired of the whole "I know what you did Last Summer" theme.

This one wasn't for me.
While I've lately really got into Historical Fiction, I'm still navigating the sub-genres and learning which I favour.

Unfortunately this one hit all the wrong buttons. The heroine was more annoying than redeeming. The story felt jagged and incomplete. And the writing left me baffled.

Like I said this is a personal thing, so please don't take my opinion to heart.

I had some time to kill and had this on my phone, so I thought why not. I enjoyed some of the other short stories in the Shiver Collection.

But this one didn't work for me.
It was very predictable and the open ending left me even more disappointed.

Honestly I got this book because of #CoverLove

But I found the story lacking. It reads like a YA, the characters feel childish and absolutely nothing happens for the biggest part of the book.

4½ ✨

Reading very much like a work of Fiction, this brutal account of the Clutter Murders is bone chilling.

Not only is Capote a masterful writer, but his dedication to obtaining all the information needed for this recounting amazes me - especially taking into account the when. No quick Google searches to check facts, or see photos of places. Just feet on the ground investigation.
