“Regal despite her extreme pallor, her every movement scored in light by the dazzle of gold thread embroidery, the princess went on to upbraid the Master of Shadow in stinging fury.“
Good for her!

This is going to be my next read, I should say re-read, after Dragon Prince by Melanie Rawn. I'm having the best early summer rediscovering some old faves from the epic fantasy and fantasy romance bookshelf.
Stormwarden by Janny Wurts is an amazing fantasy from the 80‘s. I seem to really enjoy the old stuff #fantasy
A person on /r/fantasy is trying to drum up support for Janny Wurts, who is having trouble with her publishers.
So I decided to read and review this.
Started it this afternoon and read it straight through. Well-written escapist stuff. Plan on reading the rest of the author's books right away.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the 2nd book in an epic 11 volume high fantasy saga. The writing is so very beautiful. It‘s complex, demands patience and it‘s definitely very wordy and not easy. But it‘s soooooooo beautiful. And the main characters are compelling. I am loving the series so far 👍
