The new Kobo Forma will be released on Oct 16th. It looks a bit like Kindle Oasis. I'm so tempted to get it but the price is steep - CAD$299.99 😯 Do I really need another ereader??? Do you own more than one ereader?

CampbellTaraL I own both the Kindle Paperwhite and the Kobo Clara HD, and together they still are cheaper than this or the Oasis (at release). 🤐 The size and shape of the Forma isn't my thing but if it makes reading better for people, I'm all for it! 6y

CampbellTaraL @thereadingowlvina It doesn't even have audiobook capability? Blech, that's terrible with a price tag like that. As for the differences between Paperwhite and Clara, I feel like the Paperwhite is more refined when it comes to functionality with settings, being able to email documents or books directly to the device, and the connection to libraries via Overdrive. They're both nearly identical when it comes to reading though. 6y

GabrielleDubois I prefer much more paperback books, but I have a Kindle for old books I can't find anymore in paper. This said, this morning I found an old handbag in the top of my cupboard which I hadn't used for one year and what was inside? My Kindle I thought I had lost! Fortunately I didn't buy another one since! 😊 6y
