This one was a fun, magical rom-com read. It even has a FMC who is a fire breathing unicorn. 🦄 fun 3.5 🌟 read.

Finished Book 7 in the Sam Quinn series & it proved to be a worthy addition to my #HauntedShelf TBR & this fun paranormal series. I found 14 of the #WordSearch words & I‘m using it for the #BookScavengerHunt as #NightSky Also counting it in the readathons listed below. In comments.
I‘m still tallying points but it looks like at least 361 to add to my Team #Flerken total.
Tagging the first book in the series below
This was another fast-paced, action-packed adventure! Bree faces up against an army of zombies, and things get, as you might expect, a little hairy. A LOT happens in a very short period of time, and the stakes seem to be getting higher with every book. False fronts and hidden allegiances are everywhere, and Bree is left with very few people to trust. A little spice just to keep things lively, and this is a great read — lots of fun, as usual.
The morning she comes early… 😵 Headed to Hilo for meetings today. Switched up the drink to an iced pecan crunch oatmilk latte with the usual Impossible Breakfast Sandwich.
Starting my first book of October for #HauntedShelf Team #Flerken Book 7 in the Sam Quinn series.

I feel like Krychek getting a first name that's getting used in this book is pointing towards him being an eventual lead, whiiiiich I've kinda been hoping for. Gonna stop reading the backs of these so that I can be surprised!

Another book finished early this month but no review posted. I‘m using it for today‘s #Waves prompt as Cassandra is a sea witch & the ocean & waves enhance her powers & have protected her.
This is the 2nd book in the Sea Wicche Chronicles-a spin off of the Sam Quinn series. I like the first series better but this one is a good paranormal romance escape & was easy to read when I was sick in early June.
Book 6 of 2024: I really wanted to like this book but I had a hard time getting into it. The plot and character is not bad but it's definitely fiction. I understand I am reading a paranormal/fantasy book but atleast it can be kinda believable. I could see how things were going to play out well before it ever happened. Very predictable. I did enjoy the one characters who was hysterical.

I think Vaughn is kind of a dud, but sentient beings formed by the psychic internet make up for it
