4) German (mother tongue), English (reasonably fluid 😝), French + Swedish + Danish + Norwegian (won't starve, might get a hotel room, too), Italian + Spanish + Dutch (get the gist when I read it, or I'm spoken to slowly), minimal passive vocab of some more languages including Ega (#showoff)
5) used to love video games
Samplergal Wow. Impressed with the languages. I can get myself into trouble only with ASL and Spanish. So I wouldn‘t try. 6y

julesG @Samplergal I forgot about sign language. I taught my kids basic ASL starting when they were 6 months old. 6y
julesG @AlaMich Thanks. Having taught several evening classes (English as a Second Language), I noticed that most of the course books for these sort of language classes were organised the same way: give information about yourself, ask for help, food, in a hotel. So basic holiday vocabulary 😀 6y
