so-soDay 17 #AugustGrrrl The Israel/Palestine issue is extremely #complicated 😔Certainly, not easy to transcribe in fiction~ This book follows one Palestinian family and their experience from 1948 -2014. I found the writing poetic however I was uncomfortable by the author's narrative, as it differs so vastly from my own personal beliefs. I hope readers will recognize the re-telling of history is not so linear and one dimensional. #ReadBeyondBorders ❤️

JaclynW Life is complicated!! There are always differening sides to the same story. Very few things are black and white = complicating. Great post. I was drawn to this book as soon as I saw the cover. Then the subject caught me eye, it's something I want to know more about. It's on my TBR! 7y
