RIP Val Kilmer
Tried out this recipe from the What to Expect cookbook this morning. It did not disappoint!!
A PB, J, and peach slices sandwich, soaked in French toast mixture and cooked in butter. Delicious.
Overall I liked it. It did have moments of confusion for me. There was a twist at the end that I did not see coming, and it was a satisfying end. I do hope they base the upcoming show on the books, but I hope they don't ruin it. Isn't that always the worry with book to screen adaptations though?
Book 2 of the Willow trilogy. Overall I really enjoyed this. The story is solid, however the writing is a little confusing at times. I think he could have used a better editor. His fight scenes were on point though. This had a twist I never saw coming. Like, even a little. Now I have no idea what is going to happen in book 3. Though to be honest that is exciting. I'm curious to see if they use any of this trilogy in the new series in the works.
I really liked this. The back cover book blurb info is a little misleading, but I can't say how without giving a spoiler. The writing was good with the exception of one scene that I felt was longer than it needed to be. There are a lot of twists and turns. I hope the new Disney channel show is based on the books after reading this one. Now I will start book 2 in the trilogy, Shadow Dawn. (Picture not Elora.) #fantasybooks
I've just started this and already my heart is so freaking happy! (Edited to add: The prologue was happy. Chapter 1 shows it gets dark fast.)
Post partum is F-ing hard. First time since last Sunday night (before he was born) that I‘m touching a book. Despite being weepy, emotional, and exhausted- I figured a little self care in between feedings is needed.
When I learned these existed I knew I had to have them. Willow is one of my all time favorite movies. (Madmartigan was so funny! Am I right?) These are the continuation of Princess Elora's journey. Hopefully they don't suck, but if they do it is still kinda cool that these were even written.
