In the sequel to Sweet Evil, Anna has been working much to her chagrin and has become a girl who she doesn‘t recognize. However, when an unexpected message reveals a prophecy, Anna starts to hope that her and her fellow Nepheliam can make a new beginning.

The overall plot of the sequel was well done, however, their plan seems a little far fetched. I can‘t wait to see what happens next in the next installment.

Tired of their structured and boring book club, a group of Charleston mothers decide to create a new book club where they read books about serial killers and murder. When a handsome stranger comes to town and everyone in their town are dazzled, the ladies of the book club wonder what he really is up to.

Overall an amazing and very unique read and I highly recommend it.

This book has opened my eyes to realize that I honestly had no idea of how much I didn‘t know and didn‘t understand. Through this read, I hope to change my perspective and grow into a better supporter and advocate for people with autism.

The world in this book was so fascinating! However, since the book was the first in the trilogy, it was a lot more information and a lot less character development then I would‘ve wanted. Also, the book started off kind of slow so it took awhile for me to get into it, but once I did I was hooked!

This book took me back to my Twilight days and it was pure nostalgia. I kinda fell in love with all the characters even when they annoyed me and boy did they annoy me sometimes. Grace was a good main character with all the snarkiness and humor that I tend to like. However, she was a little oblivious sometimes and could get a little annoying. Jaxon was soooo broody, protective, and bitey, I loved every minute.

OOOOOOOHH THIS WAS SO GOOD. This series is just getting better and better! First of all Celaena is an amazing character and the more her past life is revealed, the more I love her. She is such a broken and raw character, but has a shield of sarcasm and baddassery, my favorite kind of character. I cannot wait to the read the new installment!!!!!

The overall plot was really interesting and examined all the behaviors of humans in a crisis. Each character was extremely important to the plot to show how a crisis affects people differently. I liked this book and found it eerily relatable to the crisis of what is going on currently and found some very sad similarities.

This book was a lot more fast paced than the other book as well as added a lot more information to the plot. I don‘t think Chaol and Celaena can be together because Chaol will always want someone to take care of and she is not that person. I also felt a little annoyed with Dorian who was jealous the entire time of Chaol and Celaena, dude get over it. Nehemia, you were did wrong. Lastly, the whole twist was Archer was brilliant. Such a great read!

This book was hard to read. Snow‘s life is terrible and the visions that I used to have of the Capital were completely wrong. The Hunger Games were also a lot more brutal in the beginning. I think I hated all the characters. They all just were the victims of their circumstances and no one was really a hero which is what I think the book was mostly supposed to portray. OMG THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD. I could talk about it all day.

This book was a beautiful magical mystery about strong women taking risks for a better life. The game of Caraval was so interesting. I loved how magical everything was from mysterious potions, fortune telling, people playing different parts, and the imagery. I also loved how the magic had an air of mystery as well, you were suspicious of everything because you didn‘t know what was an illusion and what wasn‘t. BTW, Julian is yummy.

It had all my favorite horrible things: dolls, creepy children, technology as an enemy, an unreliable main character, and sexy, but mysterious handyman. The book starts in the future and is retelling it in a letter where the main character continually talks to the receiver of the letter in a way that makes her seem desperate and very crazy. The setting was an old house in the middle of nowhere in Scotland. The children were also extremely creepy.

The Dukes, their children: Nephilim, and the world of demons sent by Hell to tempt humans is interesting. I liked that there was more than the seven sins to include drugs and alcohol. I really liked all the characters except Anna. I mean she is great, but I found her character to be lacking flaws and I found her to be a bit whiny. However, towards the end of the book, Anna grows some balls and grows up a little so she‘s starting to grow on me.

Lizbeth was an interesting character; however, I do know how I feel about her yet. She is a definite realist and she is a badass with a gun, but sometimes her dialogue was a little rude, especially for her hate for Paulina. I thought the author didn‘t do Paulina justice. I also thought the romance between Lizbeth and Eli was lame and wasn‘t necessary. They just all of the sudden boned and then it was over. I hope the next one will be better.

I honestly have so many good feels about this book. If you have thought about skipping this book in the Throne of Glass series, stop and read this book. This book has helped get a better picture of who Celaena truly is and gives more insight on the world she came from. I honestly loved this book a lot more than Throne of Glass because Celaena is a very complex person and this book gave her a sweetness that we missed when I read Throne of Glass.

I loved this series when I first read it and this read was no different. UGHHHH the characters are so good and the plot is so amazing. First of all, Feyre is so kick ass. Her internal struggle is so beautiful and raw. I also loved how @sarahjmaas wrote how Feyre saw and experienced art. I also got a very, “Beauty of Beast,” vibe from this story with a new and interesting. Lastly, the romance in this book is super sexy and raw, LOVE IT!

I really like this series, but the first book is not my favorite. The first of the series has to explain a lot of world history and politics so the plot is kind of slow and the characters are not as developed as they become later. Celaena is a bad ass with a bad attitude and has a lot of flaws that could rub people the wrong way. Celaena and Nehemia‘s friendship is so cute! Also, there is a fabulous twist that made my jaw drop!

I was so glad I had this second book handy after reading the first one. First of all, I am so glad that these fabulous authors gave me more insight into Zila and Finnegan. I also really enjoyed getting to see more of the beautiful pull between Aurora and Kal. The ending was also so heartbreaking and very cruel. I hate that I have to wait to find out what happens, but it was amazingly well done!

OMG OMG OMG OMG! This book was a lot better than the first one because the same characters from the first one become more developed and change in a way that was not expected at all. The book was full of twists and turns that make me curse in anger and yell in triumph. Mia is such a complex character and Jay Kristoff is a master when it comes to surprising the reader. I can‘t wait to read the next one!

I really had high hopes for this book because the main character sounded interesting and the hunky book boyfriend sounded different and intriguing. However, the point of view was extremely confusing and the male characters in the book were continually getting blurred together. I also found the plot to be slow and the villain to be a bit boring. Overall I liked the Sage a lot and there were some funny scenes, but I won't be continuing the series.

I felt just awful the entire time! The switch perspectives between the mother and the daughter was insane! I feel so bad for both of them because no one is at fault, I don‘t know how I would react if my daughter was a psychopath. I also don‘t know how I would react if I was a psychopath. I also understand the selfishness that the mother and the dad feel about their relationship and their parenting. No one is the villain. Now trashy television!

I bought this book a year ago and it has been on my shelf forever because I was worried about reading it. This book physically hurt to read. The main character was flawed, but her story was so beautiful and raw. The plot was also horribly real and haunting. It makes you extremely angry with society and makes you want to hit someone. Please read this amazing book so that rape culture will finally disappear.
