Really really liked this one. Will probably read the next in the series this summer. Quick, fun, good dialogue!

The things Ahed has seen and the way she explains how Israeli soldiers abuse and harass and even kill her family without consequences is making me shake with rage.

About halfway done with this snowy and grisly murder mystery. Listening to the audio so I can hear proper pronunciation of the Sámi words.

Started this on my drive to ATX this weekend. I looked it up today, and I think this is actually 2 out of 4!! Doesn‘t seem like the 3rd and 4th follow the same characters as these first two, but we will see. ✨

Actually loved this. Not as light as I thought it would be, which really worked for me. Lots of grief and confusion here.

LoverOfLearning 5 star read for me!! Yeah definitely didn't prepare for it to be that heavy but Ioved it. 3mo
DimeryRene @LoverOfLearning I loved it so much! My bookclub is talking about it soon and I‘m excited to talk about it. 2mo

Will be looking into reviews. I don‘t think I understood everything. But I did like it somewhat. I‘m just not used to this kind of cosmic horror. I wonder if that‘s the right term. *Supernatural, curses, reanimation, grief, loss, confusion, little bit of tech thrown in.

SamAnne I‘m about halfway through. It‘s intense! 3mo

Bailey and I in bed because it‘s 17 degrees in the Dallas area and she is terrified of the heater. Luckily we finished the tagged audio while snuggling. Great audio!!

CatLass007 Bailey is adorable. 3mo
DimeryRene @CatLass007 She is! She‘s an old baby, nearly 12. 3mo
CatLass007 It doesn‘t matter how old she is, she‘ll always be your baby. Is she any type of breed or mixed? 3mo
DimeryRene @CatLass007 she is an Aussie/Rottie mix 💕 She is also my first dog, so definitely my baby. 3mo

Fantastic memoir. Full of stories about immigration, school, religion, being “authentically gay”. Told in sections related to people in the Quran. Really really enjoyed the storytelling. Audiobook, morning listening.

Likes this one! It wasn‘t as creepy as I wanted, but the lore was great and it was a little gory. This is a dumb picture just because this was my Halloween book and I wanted to show my new Halloween tattoo.

I am posing, but this is an accurate representation of what I look like in the morning while I listen to audiobooks and enjoy my coffee and the sun coming up. This has been a year of reading books on audio that I have read many times in print. Audio has consistently made the reading experience better.

AkashaVampie Totally agree. I have physically read a book in a while 7mo
DimeryRene This year, over half my books have been audio 💕 It‘s so easy to listen in the morning with coffee and wake up sort of slowly and gently. I love my mornings. 7mo
