My Life Next Door was the perfect, easy novel to get me out of my reading slump! “A summer romance with depth” is an accurate review. Easy read, relatable characters, pleasant predictability (though the twist was NOT what I expected). Definitely the $1 I spent at the thrift store 😉

I loved the inner cover of this book! This was my first Nina LaCour book, but I‘ll be sure to read more! Not as dark as I‘d anticipated, but I will put a big TW for suicide/self harm because there a handful of graphic descriptions. I found it very easy to escape into Caitlin‘s life.

Not bad, but not life altering 🤷🏼‍♀️ Enjoyable, but seems more unrealistic than Sparks‘ other novels.

WOW! This book about an unlikely pair was so difficult to put down! I thoroughly enjoyed the overarching theme that you don‘t ever really know what other people are going through. Easy, fun, meaningful read. 5/5 🌟

I‘ve always been a fan of Sparks‘ cheesy romance novels. This one felt different. It was a beautiful story of a man‘s relationships with his family. I felt happy, sad, heartbroken, & even angry at times. 3.5/5 for me!

Honestly... not my favorite. I hate to say it but sometimes this book was a little painful to get through. I enjoyed the happy ending, but everything else was pretty bland.

It was nice to have some closure after an up-and-down series. I wish the ending was longer with more detail. That‘s all I‘m really disappointed in.

Jenny Han needs to cool it with the cliffhangers! I loved this book as much as the first. It‘s hard to say anything without spoilers, so I‘ll just say that I can‘t wait to finish up the Belly trilogy.

This was the perfect novel to make me feel the youthful lust of summer again. I read it in a day because I couldn‘t put it down. I‘m so glad there are two more books in this series! The cliffhanger has me DYING to read the second book!

I had to wait about a week for this book to be checked back into the library, but it was worth the wait! The Proposal is still my fave book of the series, but that‘s because Nik & Carlos are my fave characters! This was a good “end” that tied up some story lines, but I hope there are more to finish up Nik/Carlos & Maddie/Theo!

If this is your first Ann Garvin book, I encourage you to read On Maggie‘s Watch which is MUCH better than The Dog Year. This book had a very long beginning & an abrupt ending. I felt like 95% of the book was leading up to the last chapter. Ultimately I feel like the book would‘ve been better had the first 300 or so pages been consolidated into maybe 150, then the last half of the book could have been an extended version of the final chapter.

Pick pick PICK! On Maggie‘s Watch is filled with beautiful imagery. The author is truly talented when it comes to painting scenes. That talent added to the interesting plot made a fantastic read.

This randomly-chosen-at-the-library book was amazing. It was very easy to escape into the world of Ally & Beth. Sadly, I really resonated with the strained friendship theme of this book & by the time I got to the slightly predictable ending, I was in tears.

I tried to make it through 100 pages, I really did. I randomly chose this book at the library. The reviews plastered all over the cover stated how hilarious this book was. I couldn‘t get into it.

I walked into the library one day, chose a random book shelf, then chose a random book off of said shelf. That is how I ended up with this book. I really enjoyed it! It was a quick, predictable at times, good read. I was not looking for a deep read so I think I made a good choice. It would have been cool for this to have been a four part series with each book about one of the girls.

I actually enjoyed this book much more than the Wedding Date (first book in the series). The relationship between the main characters seemed more authentic & not so repetitive. I‘m excited for the third book!

This book was okay! It was an easy, quick read. In general, I liked it. Sometimes I was annoyed with the repetition. I plan to read the rest of the series so hopefully it gets better!

As a fan of Full House growing up & Fuller House now, I was really intrigued by this book. I found out some interesting things that I didn‘t know about Full House & learned all about Jodie‘s drug addiction/alcoholism & how she is overcoming it. I wish I had tallied how many times she used the phrase “out of control” because it was a LOT. Overall, glad I read it. Wouldn‘t read again.

The perfect ending to the Lara Jean & Peter trilogy. I was crying by the end.

Couldn‘t put it down! Ran out to the library to get book #3 as soon as I finished this one.

So good! Made me feel very nostalgic about high school romances.
