I‘m so freaking excited, y‘all!!!
My son had his first middle school dance tonight! He and his pal went as Harry and Ron. I painted his hair orange but it‘s hard to tell. Hp
I loved the hell out of this book. It captures everything I feel about food and cooking. Food can be such a sexy thing. Preparing it. Cooking it. Eating it. When it‘s good; It‘s a religious experience. I liked the language and the rawness. It‘s a winner for me.
The library ordered the audio for me! Maybe I can finally get through it.
I woke up around 2:15am, couldn‘t go back to sleep so I went searching for a book on CloudLibrary. The cover of this one snagged me and then the story caught me as well! EXPIRED BEFORE I COULD FINISH. I‘ll come back to it later.
I‘m going to be the unpopular opinion. I didn‘t hate it, but it didn‘t grip me. I only read it cuz the author used to live in my home town. I had no idea about Georgia Tann and the horrible things she did, so that was interesting. The book was just kinda slow and flat.
Y‘all. I can‘t believe I did this, but I boxed up at least 15 boxes of books and got rid of 3 book shelves. I had to do it. I was taking over the house and living space for my family. I actually feel a little relieved now that it‘s done. I filled all the little free libraries in town, donated some to the library and am giving the rest to my sister in law who is building a mini-version of the Beasts library. I feel good.
I was so excited for this book. It took me ages to read it because my library hold came at a bad time and then I had to wait for it to come up again. It also took a long time because I was so distracted by how different a book it was from Widow of the South. If I hadn‘t had it on audio I wouldn‘t have finished it. The last few chapters saved it for me, but I didn‘t love it.
1. We are going to Dublin, TX for their annual celebration and parade! Planning to go tour an artisanal cheese factory, and Dublin Bottle Works.
2. I‘m gonna be cliche and say how lucky I am to be married to my best friend.
3. I really enjoyed the tagged book!

I agree so much with this quote! I highly recommend audiobook on this one. Him reading it is half of it‘s debauched charm.
My son is the Mad Hatter in the schools 5th grade musical! I got roped into being “super stage manager” I‘m out of my element like crazy, but we had our first show last night and it went really well!
They are here!!! She had 3 y‘all! I was totally amazed. @Soubhiville 2 boys and a girl. They were born Saturday, they‘ve been closed up with a heat lamp and I finally let them out today. Everyone is doing great!
Y‘all. I loved, loved, loved it! Such a neat way to tell the story. I wanted to know more, I was engaged and now I really want to visit Alaska. ❤️
I can always count on Flavia to pull me out of a slump!

♥️♥️♥️♥️ I loved this!! It‘s like McKinley‘s Beauty, but from the Beasts perspective. And if you audiobook it, read by Jim Dale. Just heart warming and delightful. If you are a Beauty and the Beast junkie like me, read it.
Happy Valentines Day! This seems the perfect book to be reading right now. What says Valentines like love letters?! I‘ve had this book for ages and haven‘t picked it up before now. It‘s one of those, why haven‘t I read this and at the same time I‘m thankful for a new treasure. #epistolary
Epistolary is my happy place.
Sorry for being MIA, I‘m still here, just not posting much. I‘ve been dnf so many books after investing large chunks of time to them, it‘s been very disheartening. This one tho, was a treat.
Oh my gosh y‘all. Words can not describe how thankful I am today. I had the worst being a mom day ever. I totally failed my child and was having a dreadful day. We finally got home and I had two totally random Litsy friend packages on the porch! I can‘t even. Y‘all lifted my heart like you can‘t imagine. So thankful. @Soubhiville @Jas16
